“Not only is ACCE helping me financially to go to school and earn a degree, but it is also giving me the chance to meet new people in my field and preparing me for working in emergency response,” said McKensie Baker, a Pulaski County ACCE student.
New River Community College recently named five new full-time teaching faculty, Christopher Brewer, Kasey Cantrell-McCowan, Dustin Carter, Josh Graham, and Heather Umberger. These new faculty members replaced retirements and filled vacant positions at NRCC.
Abigail chose NRCC because she had always heard great things because her grandmother, Becky Ridpath, worked there for several years and always spoke highly of the institution. She also thought NRCC would be a great transition for her from high school into a four-year college.
Connor chose NRCC because he wanted to begin college closer to home. While attending NRCC, he was named to the Dean’s List and the President’s List and was also a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
Seanna chose to attend NRCC to ensure that she would ultimately save on a four-year degree.
Daniel chose to attend NRCC after friends and others in the field recommended NRCC for its IT curriculum.
